My dear friend Jjakomo,
Your humility is a rare Jewel on top of your mammoth talent as a drummer and as a performer.

You truly have a gift and I am the one who will be honored to share the stage with you for Haitian Flag Day. I also want to take a minute to acknowledge your generosity.

There exist very few Haitians I know who are as generous with their time, talent, kindness and energy as you are. Thank you for sharing it all with me and Kalbass over the weekend.

I honor and respect the long journey that you have traveled in your career so far and I am inspired by all that is possible musically between us. On behalf of Kalbass, I welcome you to the band. You are a living legend my friend.

The Bay Area needs to meet you and the world awaits you. So let's start making things happen.

May 17 is our kick off! Let's Rock'N'Kompa.
