Rain or shine!
Join us - Young Haitians United - as well as families, students, youth groups and many others, Haitians and non-Haitians alike for a beautiful 3-mile walk around the Charles River to support Zanmi Lasante, the health initiatives of Dr. Paul Farmer and Partners in Health in Haiti. Come for music, dancing, food, Haitian crafts and more! Free and open to the public. Best of all, 100% of the money raised will go towards building sustainable (brick) houses in communities in Haiti devastated by last year's tropical storms...so feel free to give generously.
If anyone would like more information, please email younghaitiansunited@gmail.com . For those who cannot attend, you can make a safe, easy and efficient donation online on our fundraising website: www.firstgiving.com/wfh2009 .
We truly hope to see you there!
