Celebrating Haitian Culture with Class and Style: An evening of Kreyol Jazz, Poetry and Art.

Come experience the sounds, words, and colors of the beauty of Haitian culture!

Greetings! It is with great pleasure and honor that this invitation is extended to you to attend Nasyon Soley's production of "Cultural Crossroads" for an evening of Haitian sounds, rhythms, colors. You are invited to come attend an upscale evening where the culture of Haiti and the pride of her art, poetry and music will be displayed in honor of a beautiful and distinguished heritage.

You are invited to come immerse yourself in an ambiance of multilingual spoken word poetry by Haitian-American poet Makendal of the group The Maroons performing "I Don't Look Haitian?", "Maroon's Passion", "PriyA©", Her Sensuality" and much, much more...along with neo-soul artist Nathalie "Natty" Guillaume performing multilingual poetry, live drums and vocal jazz.

This evening of cultural and artistic ambiance will also include, from Haiti, a live performance of Kreyol Haitian Jazz by the infamous virtuoso and accomplished pianist, Reginald Policard, accompanied by Joel Widmaier and Richard Barbot. If you are a jazz enthusiast, especially a kreyol jazz lover, then this event will leave you mesmerized and hypnotized!

From Montreal, Canada, an exquisite and alluring art exhibit and silent auction of the art work of Myrtelle ChA©ry (www.mosaikart.ca) will also be held inclusive of a wine and cheese/hors d'oeuvres reception from 7-8.

Doors open at 7pm, Showtime at 8:30pm. $25.00 in advance, $30 at the door.
