To push a woman a beautiful Haitian woman at that into the arms of a white man would take something much more vital than just a Haitian man being Haitian.
No I am not making excuses for my people we are known to be womanizers, alcoholics, needy, controling and so forth.
But it is tradition that must be changed.
I don't believe that there aren't any good Haitian men out there I just believe that the wrong kind of woman has occupied(trapped) my brothers.
I am an educated young Haitian man living in Atlanta and the ratio of good Haitian woman to good haitian men has definitely fluctuated and it seems almost impossible to find a Haitian woman who isn't more concerned with gossip, going to parties and looking cute. The Haitian woman I grew up with were very strong and had much more to complain about than woman today coming from a third world country to become educated, financially stable and support a family with 2-3 kids and a grandparent is challenging.
We as men need to stay out of jail get a good job or education, and learn how to balance the Haitian style with the American culture which is harder than it sounds.
Please sister avoid running into the arms of a white man and continue you search for a man who can laugh and joke and enjoy the food and music of Haiti.
