I think this is a very good intention.
Haiti needs to have people like the members of this committee to help the country moving out of darkness of underdevelopment.
But, my only problem is that most people do those events to benefit themselves, not really to benefit the group that the event is dedicated to. I am very confident that in the 21st century Haiti will move forward.
We need to understand that the country can't move alone.
It has to be as a whole, a group or as a community willing to promote their country.
I am not able to go to the event because I live in Hartford, CT and I am always afraid of NY (don’t ask me why but I am just like that) but if time comes to participate in an event, of course I will, if I have good friends to support and make me feel good while I am there.
