Mezchazch,
First generation Haitian women were taught that sex wasn't for nice girls.
They were curious about it but not to the extent that it would consume their thoughts.
They were kept busy doing things that were considered "lady like" such as sewing, reading, and french cuisine among many other things.
Boys were preoccupied with when and how to get it, and would release the tention of not getting it from sports activities.
In fact this stems back to African cultures who would have the clitoris removed from young girls before menstruation.
This is an African rite that still is done today, and has left many young girls mutilated and scared for life. Many girls die, this is done in order for there not to be any enjoyment in the sexual experience, and to avoid them sleeping with other man besides their husband.
When the husband comes to her she had no interest but to ly there and hope he finished soon. This is the same attitude that is prevalent in many Haitian's women today.
If you were raised in a strict Haitian household sexual desire's in a woman was considered to be evil and lustful, A man wanted a good girl as a wife, not one known to be sexually active.
therefore sex and the forms of sex is an unknown to them, and there is still some apprehension in learning about the subject of Sex to this day. Don't blame them because of what was taught to them, be considerate and understanding about this dilemma.
There is a term that I've often heard but don't quite remember it goes something like this "Men want a saint in the house, but a whore in the bed".
Unfortunately, that's not going to happen.
