Dear Paragonimage,
I would say from your mouth to God's ear.
The Haitian public has lowered, watered down, its standard so much that "musicians" now are on stage wearing " chemisettes".I kid you not and i am not bad-mouthing anyone.
Our "musicians" have been getting away with murder.
These so-called musicians have been getting the superstar treatment for so long that they now bluntly disrespect the public in terms of punctuality, performance, presentation (dress code).
And guess what i do not blame them. I blame the fools(club-goers, producers, club owners) who tolerate them.
But as in all problems there are solutions.
Insist that the bands perform with uniforms on (good luck convinving them on that one).
This will inspire more seriousness while performing their duty.Fine them 10% of the total value of the contract for failure to start performing on time.
And then, provide them a copy of the TROPICANA handbook on how to treat the paying-public.
I must warn you you are not going to be well liked in your community.
Good luck
Adhbriz
