Jean Bertran Aristide has been requesting to return to his country, haiti, but the international community has been silencing him and clearly do not want him to come. He is Haitian, a former president, former priest, an intellectual with a lot to contribute to the rebuilding process of Haiti and to inspire the people going through so much grief and hardships.
Yes he is a very controversial president, and he is also the most popular president Haiti has had in recent memory.
finally after 6 years of being away from his country and in this mess he wants to come back. How many others have asked to come back thus far?
None I know or heard of. I say let him go to his country Haiti.
I think he still owns a house there.
He has family and friends and supporters there.
Do you think Aristide and his wife should return to Haiti at this time?
What do you think he is going to be useful for when he returns.
