Jean Bertran Aristide has been requesting to return to his country, haiti, but the international community has been silencing him and clearly do not want him to come. He is Haitian, a former president, former priest, an intellectual with a lot to contribute to the rebuilding process of Haiti and to inspire the people going through so much grief and hardships.
Yes he is a very controversial president, and he is also the most popular president Haiti has had in recent memory.
