I have to agree with Princess, I am an American Woman married to a Haitian man. I believe you have to continue to nurture your relationship, respect one another, and trust.
Initially I did not get a very positive response from Haitian women when we started dating.
However, after the preconceived stereotypes were smashed, they were able to see the respectful, professional woman that I am. I thank God that my husband and I have not had any issues with infidelity in our relationship, as we continue to respect each other, and insure that all of our needs are met.
