For all the progress we've made towards racial unity.
it still amazes me that we still, shall I say loathe inter-racial relationships.
I am Haitian.
I am from the elite class.
I came to this country when I was Fifteen years old and was educated both in Europe and the USA. I am married to a German woman whom I love very much. I married whom my heart chose.
In terms of social strata, some would say that she is below mine but she is my equal.
She is my wife and the foundation of my family.
Who are we to juge one person's affection and /attraction to another, irregardless of 'skin color'?
Why are we still perpetuating the race card?
Why can't we pass the cro-magnon stage in our lifetime?
If an 'Elite" Haitian woman choses to marry a white man so what?
We should happier that she did not marry a woman.
But then again, we're making progress, right?
