YOu are correct in saying that it's absurd for anyone Haitian or otherwise to make the statement that white men treat women better than black men, but the true ignorance in this comment comes from someone trying to dictate to others who they should and should not date. Hoping to share your "educated" life with a black man is great...
for you and your preferences.
I on the other hand hope to share my life with a man who treats me well, loves me, and respects me. Whether or not that man is black or white, Asian or Hispanic are unimportant in that equation.
Your remark here just helps to illustrate that the gulf between education and wisdom is greater than most people fully realize.
Now as for your statistics about interracial marriage...
so what.
First of all, 70% of interracial relationships involving black men and women makes sense if you consider that >80% of interracial relationships involve black and white partners and those two groups make up 250 of the 298 million people living in America.
That number jumps to 256 million if you consider people describing themselves as of mixed race ethnicity.
As for the "oppressor" tack you're taking...
I'm not sure what to make of that. I'm tempted to ask if you mean that as a Haitian or a black woman, but ultimately it doesn't even matter.
People like you will always fault the white man as a fallback method of defending your racism.
While the fact that blacks in America have been oppressed by society is inescapable the VAST majority of white men and white women in the united states today are no more to blame for that flawed system than say, penguins in the antarctic.
