Duh!
It goes both ways. It is also common for Haitian men to want to date women outside of their race for many reasons (most the same as the reasons the Haitian women do it).
People carry around hurts from past relationships and they think trying a different race will keep them from being hurt again, or it could be a status thing where when they are making more money than they were making before they feel as though dating a white woman is an upgrade, or it could be just to be different or to impress his boys/male friends or it could be things that they grew up seeing happening between their mothers and fathers that they would not like to happen to them and they feel the only way to keep from having a relationship like their mothers and fathers relationship is to date someone from a different culture.
Whatever the reason I feel it is personal taste/opinion.
Remember we are all brothers and sisters, we were all created by one God. When we are cut with a knife we bleed red blood not blue, yellow or pink. If you need a new heart or a blood transfusion as long as there is a match they can give you the blood or organ from a black or white person.
So let's stop looking for reason why on everything and wish everyone well in their relationships regardless of who they're with.
