Event Details

In support of the rebuilding of Haiti following the devastating earthquake, MCNY wants to do its part by offering qualified Haitian citizens the opportunity to acquire the skills needed to help their country during this difficult time. This unique scholarship program will cover all tuition, books and fees as well as offer a "hands on" off-site learning component in Haiti. The announcement of MCNY's Haitian Scholarship program will be made at a press conference at on the steps of New York City Hall. Deadline to apply is July 30, 2010 for the fall semester.

Below is an email that was sent to Councilman Mathieu Eugene who is endorsing this scholarship.

MCNY now states that the scholarship is not available to "Haitian citizens living in NY" City Hall has responed to my email, but I'm not surprised that Eugene has not!
