CASTING CALL (FORT LAUDERDALE/MIAMI)

Actors needed for a Haitian/American film production. Shooting begins late August, 2008.

Jabaz OmniMedia needs talented male and female actors for various roles in its upcoming feature "Crazy Love." The digital feature production will be shot in South Florida and Haiti. This is an unpaid acting opportunity with possible deferred payment. Actors will receive a copy of the finished project and festivals screening tickets. Meals will also be provided along with a small stipend.

SYNOPSIS

"Crazy Love" is the story of two political exiled families, the LaGuerre and the LeRoie, once joined by idealism and prosperity for a better country, Haiti, and is now separated by misguided deeds and goals. Lives are destroyed in the families' quest for power. From these feuding families, a son (Noah) and daughter (Arielle) fall in love, "Crazy Love", and share an unfortunate fate. Their misgivings bring their familial grudge to an end.

CAST:

Noah: Young Male Lead. Brooding artistic type, plays the guitar and sings a little. This role requires talent to speak French and Creole.

Arielle: Young Female Lead. Extremely attractive: innocence with sex appeal and a penchant for romantic language.

Taz: Young Male Support Cast. Noah's best friend and confidant. Taz is lively and sexually liberated.

Zach: Young Male Support Cast. Noah's cousin.

Blanc: Young White Male. Comic relief.

Sasha: Young Female Support Cast. Arielle's best friend and polar opposite. Sasha is a confident full figured young lady who appears brass, sassy and flamboyant.

Jet: Young Male Support Cast. Jet physically fit and always on edge.

Diesel: Young Male Support Cast: Jet's best friend and physical match. This character can be of any race.

Paris: Arielle's chosen suitor. Paris appears significantly older than Arielle. He is handsome, charismatic and well-to-do.

Anne LeRoie: LeRoie's wife and stay at home mother. She spends her time planning parties and shopping.

LeRoie: Former leader of Haiti and now exiled. LeRoie spends his time plotting his return to Haiti and finding a suitable mate for his only daughter.

Tony LaGuerre: Noah older brother and caretaker.

Michelle: Tony's loving and attractive wife.

Emmanuel: Pastor/Preacher

Will: Haitian radio personality

Guy: Haitian radio personality
