Love A Child runs outreach programs in Haiti that include an orphanage, 14 schools – where over 5,000 children a day are fed and educated – remote medical clinics and food distribution that feeds thousands of Haitian families. They have earned the Independent Charities of America (ICA) “Best in America” seal of approval. All supporters of Haitian relief efforts are welcome to attend the event in an effort to bring people together to spread the message of hope. Organizers are encouraging the on-going rescue and restructure taking place in Haiti by donating 100 percent of the proceeds from the event. The event will feature delicious hors d’oeurves provided by local restaurants Wasabi Chi, Black Stone Stake House, Amici Miei Café and Metric Bar & Grill. A silent auction offering fine jewelry, vintage wines, gift certificates for local businesses, restaurants and other tantalizing goodies for bid. Etnertainment will include a line-up of seven Connecticut top DJs: Noelle, Baby Manny, Scotty Styles, Kelly, Mike Heredia, Paul Spirit, Schmidty, Ryan and Mike Jones. DJ talent provided by KUNJAN COLLECTIVE and sponsored by COLLECTIVE PRO AUDIO. Special guest performances include EMI/MUSA new R&B prince JOSH XANTUS and the tri-state area's premiere bellydance duet. Tava & Kazja and the The Manipura Collective!
